Wer sind wir?
Die Selbsthilfegruppe der Anonymen Spieler …
… gibt es in Neumünster seit 1985 und ist somit eine der ältesten Spielergruppen in Deutschland. Glücklicherweise gibt es immer noch Spieler aus den Anfangsjahren, die weiterhin regelmäßig an den Meetings teilnehmen, um ihr Wissen und ihre Erfahrungen an andere Spieler weiterzugeben.
Wir treffen uns zu unseren Meetings jeden Freitag ab 19.30 Uhr. Die Vicelin-Kirchengemeinde hat uns dankenswerterweise von Anfang an bei unserer Gruppenarbeit unterstützt und Räumlichkeiten zur Verfügung gestellt.
Der Ablauf der Meetings ist bei uns ziemlich zwanglos. Wir stellen den Austausch von Erfahrungen in den Mittelpunkt unserer Arbeit und leisten moralische Unterstützung jedes Einzelnen. Auf formelle bzw. strukturierte Abläufe und Verfahren, wie sie aus anderen Selbsthilfegruppen bekannt sind, haben wir weitgehend verzichtet. Nach einer Vorstellungsrunde, während der jeder über das Erlebte und Gefühlte der vergangenen Woche berichten kann, wird über Begebenheiten oder Probleme gesprochen, die sich eventuell aus der Vorstellungsrunde ergeben.
Das besondere an der Vorstellungsrunde bei uns ist, dass jeder bemüht ist seinen Redebeitrag mit den Worten „Ich habe diese Woche nicht gespielt“ beginnen zu können. Für viele eine große Motivation und ein nicht zu unterschätzender Ansporn, diesen Worten auch das dafür notwendige Verhalten (Nichtspielen) während der Woche vorausgehen zu lassen.
Bis zum Beginn der Pandemie (2021) umfasste unsere Gruppe acht bis 12 Teilnehmer, was allerdings stark variieren kann, je nachdem wie groß die Bereitschaft ist, unsere Gruppe zu besuchen. Es gibt auch für Angehörige von Spielern die Möglichkeit uns aufzusuchen, selbst wenn der Spieler noch nicht bereit ist.
